So, my little Zen (for no recognisable definition of zen, but that's tangential) day-by-day calendar had this to say yesterday (from Zen mondo, apparently):

A monk asked Yun-men: "What is the pure and clear body of the Dharma?" Yun-men replied: "Flowery hedge."

I'm assuming I don't have to tell you what I said in response, giggling my pj-clad ass off.

Now, back to writing. Doing both sides of an argument is fun!
