no business like show business

Opening night went well, for theatre person values of "well": problem with the programs (already fixed), problem with the light board (people are going to get yelled at, let me tell you), and I think one of the girls was close to passing out when she flubbed a line. That's what makes it fun, though, right?

But now I have pasta and a popsicle in my tummy, and I'm going to finish my beer (I earned it) and go to bed. Weekend's going to be entertaining from here on out (two more shows, plus a movie screening, and I have to navigate the etiquette of whether A and I should go to the cast party), but I'm hoping I'll sleep well tonight.

I'm glad things went "well". I hope the weekend continues to go well - even without the quotation marks maybe! I also hope you're able to go to the cast party without any issues.

*love*

The drama there is that A and I are just the producers, and we basically auditioned the girls in October and then didn't see any of them again until a week before the show. But, the gal hosting is a friend of ours from outside the show, and she apparently pestered A about making sure we come.
