I return for great justice! Bruised and abused, but theoretically better for it. Surgery went well (too tired to go through any of the fun details), and I'm only posting now because I'm only now able to sit up in front of the comp long enough to do so.

So, yay, I have junkie bruises on both elbows that are already fading, another massive one on my hip surrounding three surgical gashes that look like they once connected me to something Borgishly scifi, and I can barely walk. Woo!

I'm really glad you got through okay. I know i'm new at friending you but.....I really am glad.

As for the small favors bit, be glad you did wake up during it with a tube down your throat and tied to the table. I did my last surgery.....when anyone mentions surgery it brings it *right* back to mind.

Actually, I did wake up multiple times during the procedure (since they could only hold me barely under since they needed me talking), but every time I came aware of the ceiling, I told one of the nurses and they'd knock me out again.

I am doing that. Only being able to sit up for a short period at a time helps.
