You Must Submit!

As of 10:01p, I've officially submitted my application for reinstatement at university. And now, we wait.

Work was long and kinda awful today. Worked bar during the rush, which was tough, but I managed, despite the evil bitch-boss appearing out of the office periodically to berate me for being too slow. *shrugs* Managed to spill hot milk all over my pants, and was lucky to not have burned m'sel'. Am a klutz, not that that's news.

One funny things from work, though. Toddler was standing next to the condiment bar while his mum was fixing her coffee (I was out cleaning the condiment bar, which was why I overheard this). Toddler is holding up his hands to his (surprisingly clean) hands to his mum, who says, in a bored, Brooklyn-ite voice. "Yes, you've found your hands. Let's go." I was unreasonably amused.

After work, I walked home, talking to Esteban (does anyone remember who that nickname refers to?) all the while. We're writing buddies for NaNo this year; maybe if we push each other we can finish. Anyone else NaNo-ing? We can make a groupe effort of it.

Off to bed, I think; nothing to do, too brainfried to write, got up early (6a) for work. Will be tackling chores tomorrow (bathrooms, tubs, floors) to get the 'rents off my back, and then work after. Going to be a fun day. /sarcasm

I am NaNoing...we'll see how well that goes, what with the pre-med schedule and 6+ extracurriculars...but I remain hopeful, dammit! Phinaes McCoy WILL be finished come the end of November!
