They Don't Pay Me Enough For This

Or, considering where I'm sitting, *headmattress*
For those of you wondering, I wasn't at the Alumni Reception today because I had work. Yes, work. Work, where I sat around for almost two hours, hauled podiums for an entirely different event than the one I was there for, sat around for another hour, set up the delivered food for the reception I was actually working, watched people eat for two hours, and then cleaned up after them. I so do not get paid enough for this. Though I did get lots of quality reading time in, between the dead hours at work, the 40 minute bus ride, and the 45 minutes spent waiting for Dad to pick me up. For you RM-ites, I plan to visit in January.
I'm taking off the rest of break because transportation to work is just a bitch. I'm also taking off the first six weeks of the semester to assistant stage manage Crucible for the Department of Theatre, thus beginning my training as a stage manager; more details on that as they come in. Shows are the first two weekends of March; if you're in town, you should come see it. Professional-grade production, $7 a ticket (if you convince them you're a student; I can hook you up), what could be bad?
In other news, I've been home since Tuesday night, and it's so nice to have my own room (even though my brother practically lives in here to have access to the computer), a bathroom I only have to share with one other person, consister shower water temperature, adjustable heat, free laundry, and access to real food all day long. Plus, I got my wireless connection working again, with the assistance of a very nice gentleman at Gateway. Ah, this is the life.
Also, to clarify for those who might be confused by things I've said recently, I appear to be back in the bi camp. Basically, it can be blamed on Mark from down the hall, who does his laundry in his boxers, and some 2a navel-gazing. Also, I as sorta kinda involved with a guy who lives on the floor beneath me, though it's nothing serious. One cool thing about dorm life: visiting people at 3a.
By the way, don't even talk to me about academics. It's bad, people, and it's mostly my fault, but I so do not want to talk about it.

Hogwarts Exams: 50 question trivia tests on each of the first five Harry Potter Books. I averaged a 95% on each; can you do better?
