I think I'm actually going to start using this thing, assuming I ever get any writing done. It would be a rather amusing excuse to write fanfiction, so that's good. Or maybe that's bad. I dunno.

Book Assessment

Was about movies, but Jaiwithani has changed it thusly:

1. Number of books owned:
Personally? 100+. But my family? 1000s, easily. Have you seen the "library"?!

2. Last book I bought:
Mm. I think it was the most recent Amelia Atwater Rhodes gem (which Lisa currently has *grumble*). Either that or something for school.

3. Last book I read:
Last book I finished was Emerald Magic, an amazing book of Irish and Irish-inspired short stories. I'm currently reading Brideshead Revisited for that independent reading thing and trying to finish To the Lighthouse for the damn journals.

4. Five books that mean things or I like or somesuch:
* anything by JK Rowling
* anything by JRR Tolkein
* anything by Amelia Atwater Rhodes
* the first four books of the Hitchhiker trilogy
* the Sabriel trilogy by Garth Nix
Ooh, such a series junkie.

Algernon?!

My brother's friends are doing a performance of The Importance of Being Earnest for service credit. The only problem being they didn't have anyone to play Algernon. And so they ask me.

*flashback to my other cross-dressing excapades for dramatic purposes*

I guess it's a compliment. . .Should be fun, though. Though the children are somewhat scary. Make that very scary.
