Friday, 19 August 2005 23:40And so, our collegiate heroine tosses her copy of Palmer into her bag and sets off to wander the College Park campus. Drenched to the bone, she returns happy, having succeeded in her four-part mission: to traverse the Bookstore labyrinth to retrieve an out-of-print textbook; to defeat the Student Financial Aid sphinx and gain a work-study appeal form; to fight the mighty Resident Life dragon and win another parking permit for move-in day; and, most daring of all, to brave the rain and mighty hills to determine whether it is possible to cross the top of the campus in less than ten minutes. Our heroine's work done, she is rewarded with Chinese food, Stargate episodes, and 200 experience points.

Ouch, I ache from all that walking, especially after biking around yesterday to get to Eliza's. But a productive day was had, I am happy to say.
And I am so glad that Vala is gone, at least temporarily. She drives me nuts.
