I really don't like auditions, but this one could have been a lot worse. It was for a play called
Standing on My Knees, about a poet suffering from schizophrenia whose muse disappears when she begins taking meds to get the voices to go away. It was a prepared monologue and then cold readings, a scene and a rather bizarre monologue. For both of them I was reading as Catherine, the poet. It seems like an amazing part, but I'm not holding my breath about it. I'll find out tomorrow, after all.
Tomorrow's going to be hell, though. I have to study for the archeology final on Friday, which basically means reading the first ten chapters in the textbook from hell. I can do it, I think, but I'm not sure how well I'll do on the exam itself.
I appear to have developed another seasonal psychosis. Fall appears to make me jittery: I want to go party, but I have work to do, and I can't make myself concentrate. Not good, what with the midterms on Friday, Monday, and the following Friday, but I guess I'll survive.
Quizziness, because they're necessary to procrastination (I really need to see this movie):

You are Captain Malcolm Reynolds, aka. Mal or
Captain Tightpants. You saw most of your men
die in a war you lost and now you seek solitude
with a small crew that you are fiercely devoted
to. You have no problems being naked.
