"Pissing rain. Fucking trees. Good morning, campers."
Tuesday, 22 November 2005 00:58It's wet. I'm sick. Walking around campus to go advising appointment, make up my midterm, and get food, all in the former condition, have merely aggravated the latter. And it's cold, but that might be me, as I think I've been going in and out of a low-grade fever for the last few days. Yuck.
Advising went well, though there was much office running to sort it all out. Midterm went better than the first, but wasn't stellar. Dinner was the oh so exotic fried fish that the diner does surprisingly well. They still don't know what to do with vegetables, but I suppose I'll live.
Also spent close to half an hour on the phone to my HMO, who was stupid enough to attempt to charge me some $300 of the $1200 for the first heart monitor. They're now reprocessing the bill, but I really don't want to have to deal with them being stupid. Their physicians perscribed the monitor, and the HMO pays for all perscriptions made by their doctors, so they should be paying for all of it, not just part. QED and all that.
Will be heading home Wednesday night. Beyond cooking and dinner on Thursday, GoF on Friday, and Rent Saturday afternoon, I'm going to be around until Sunday night. If anyone's doing anything, please let me know. I miss you all!
