OMGWTF?!

What the hell is it with drug use in the shows I've been watching lately? And I don't even mean pot, I'm taking heroin. Every fucking time.

First I watched Black Donnellys, which is about the Irish and Italian mobs in New York. The Donnellys are four brothers who take on both mobs, and one of the brothers in a heroin addict.

Then I watched Heroes, which has a character who can paint the future, but only when he's on heroin (until they teach him to do it without the drug).

And now I'm watching Slings and Arrows, which is a Canadian show about a theatre company, and the elderly actor they're bringing in to play Lear?

He's a heroin user.

And I might add, each of these shows have included graphic drug use.

What the hell, world? Two is coincidence, but this is ridiculous.

Of course, it's a Thursday. Never could get the hang of Thursdays.

(And no, any "sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll" jokes will be met with extreme violence. I'm hormonal, do not test me.)
