And I can't even blame the insomnia today!

Uh, note to self: WTF were you thinking staying up until 2a finishing a book you weren't even enjoying, and then not taking your meds until then? Really, really dumb. And I don't even know why I started this book (The Robber Bride, Margaret Atwood) to begin with. I didn't like her prose style or her inability to write a satisfying ending in The Handmaiden's Tale; what made me think this one would be different?

In other news, first day of work went well. More on that tomorrow. Tomorrow I get to actually work from home for the first time (I put in 3.5 hours today, and while I should hit 20 by the end of the week, I'm not sure I'll be able to), plus I have to wash bathrooms and do laundry and decide what the hell I'm wearing to the bro's graduation. I'm so proud of him!

Ugh, so going to bed at 3a and waking up at 2p is a stupid idea. Just so you know.

Rolled out of bed cursing this afternoon and proceeded to run around like a crazy thing for a few hours. Ran the dishwasher, did a load of shirts, ate a bit. When Dad got home we figured out this gadget he bought so that I can run audio and video from my laptop through the tv set. That means I can watch stuff from my laptop while I fold laundry, which is nice.

Also worked my first real hours banging on the website code. It's a snarled mess, so half of what I'm doing right now is cleaning up so that it's not so headache-inducing. I've got lists all over the place of stuff I need to do, so I should probably sit down and consolidate it into one big list. Or, I can just finish one list and then move onto the next. But I get to do it all from the comfort of my own home. It's neat.

And the cross stitch I'm doing for Mum's birthday is almost done, which is cool. It looks really great. There will definitely be pictures.

Now, I should be writing, but I've got two way AU (and I think I've talked about my poor opinion of alternate-life fic) fic ideas chewing on my grey matter, so I think I'm just going to kill things until bedtime. :D
