airlines are stupid

Just spent three hours in the airport because US Airways is a bunch of morons. My grandfather is on his way back to Florida today, and we'd arranged for someone to take him through security in a wheelchair, sit with him until the plane boarded (in case he had to use the bathroom, etc), and then unload him in West Palm Beach and help him get a taxi back to his residence. Unfortunately, we found out when we got there that they'd provide a wheelchair and someone to take him down to the gate, but that he'd been on his own until they preboarded him for the flight. Dad put on the scary voice and was able to get us special passes so we could go through security and sit with Zayde until the plane came. Bleh.
