Mini-Rant: Voting

So this morning I was leaving the Metro station and this woman was standing there trying to register people to vote. And she asked me, and I had to tell her I was too young. Damn political system. I know as much about the politics of this country as the average over-18 American, if not more. Why can't I vote?

Mom just told me about how only 51% or so of the eligible population in Mayland voted in 2000. Yet another injustice.
