Inspiration for "Coffee Shop"

melayneseahawkI ran into the Question Mark Guy at Starbucks last week (i.e. Friday). Some of you might have seen this guy before: he wears funny-colored suits decorated with question marks. Being bored like I was at the time, I decided to write a story about him (I'll let you few that read this know when I've finished it). Before I left, I decided that it would make sense to ask him why before I went and made up my own reason.
So, I walk up to this guy who's got to be like 6'6" or so, grey hair and lined face, who's wearing a double-breasted lavendar suit decorated with purple question marks, purple-framed reading glasses, and lavendar Converse high-tops and ask him: "Why?"
His answer? "If no one will amuse me, I have to amuse myself. And it's getting kind of late anyway."
Feel free to analyze as you see fit. Damn, I want to write him up for TOK (though I still like my version better).
