Day of Silence

Tomorrow is the Day of Silence, "a national youth movement protesting the silence faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their allies. My deliberate silence echoes that silence, which is caused by harassment, prejudice, and discrimination. I believe that ending the silence is the first step toward fighting these injustices."

Anyone who is LGBT, or cares about people who are, please join my silence tomorrow. Here you can find cards that explain tomorrow's event, which you can carry with you and show to teachers, etc.

Whether you join or not, I just want to tell all of you who support me how much I love you and appreciate the strength you lend me.
