Updating from a Starbucks, where I am mooching Internet. There's been some big changes around here. I'll try to give you all the highlights:

I have moved from Washington DC to Pittsburgh, to finally complete my stage management BFA. Classes start Monday, which gives me this week to unpack and get settled in. The move itself was not without incident: massive storms in the drive up, the power was out when we got here, and then the elevator broke down once the power came back on. Dad and I managed to haul everything up the four flights of stairs to my place--even the seven boxes of books and the a/c unit--install the a/c, and do a massive grocery haul. I'm gradually unpacking and arranging everything, though this is complicated by the fact that Verizon is being idiotic about my Internet, and I may not have any until the end of September. Bleh.

In other news, I am also preparing for Dragon*Con, which I am really looking forward to this year. I have a bunch of new costumes, and intend to take full advantage of my free status this year. I am going to panels. I am going to parties. I am going to haggle in the dealer rooms. I am going to have fun.

Hello. This is Romanse1 from the Help Japan Auction. I thought I'd give communication with you a last try. I need to know if I should just move on from anticipating a story from you.

At this point I just want to stop stressing like I told you straight up in the beginning. (if it's any consolation, the other author for whom I paid 50 dollars of the money I saved never delivered a story either and thats from someone I actually know.)

I'll certainly honor a response that is basically, "bug off". I know that you have been busy, and at the same time, you are unaware of my own circumstances. So...I would just ask that if you could just maybe be more careful about fandom commitments in the future, it will help keep those intangible qualities about being in fandom alive and fun for everyone.

Hi! So sorry, but RL has been insane the last few months. I have a whole list of writing projects that need to be finished, including this one. I've just moved to a new apartment and am starting school on Monday, but I should have a better idea of the status of these in a few weeks.

I have just gotten out of the hospital and am currently putting my life back together after an extended (and continuing but less severe) illness, but I should have all four parts posted over the next few weeks.
