My uncle has this condition too, so I know how scary it can be. Just focus on relaxing for now...I'm sure your prof will let you make up the midterm. I mean, what kind of teacher could ignore the whole "heart defect" thing? Someday, when I am an internationally famous cardiologist, I promise to make you all better. :-)
