Played Munchkin (roleplaying card game of awesome!, must play when people are back in town) with the family, which was only fun until my brother decided to be a pest because we insisted on following the rules. Silly child, that one. Da won, because his last monster was so easy we couldn't make it too hard for him to beat (and Mum wouldn't help us make the monster stronger because she wanted to go to bed), but I came in a close second.

Working the booth yesterday was amusing, if a bit boring at times. I actually know enough about the library and the services they offer to be able to talk to people, so I was able to hold down the fort while Da took a look around (most of the other booths were publishers, so they were showing all the shiny new books they're printing) and had lunch. We probably drummed up two new speakers for the library, too, so it was a good day.

Here follows [livejournal.com profile] wellymuck notes; feel free to ignore. I just want to put them down somewhere before I forget and before I have to go to bed.
9 - use picture for dream; well-behaved wolf

10 - finding books; tells Harry he's 'cleaning'; title: “Because You Can't Keep Hermione Away from Libraries”

11 - gathering first plants from garden; title: "Hermione's Garden"

12 - flashback

I can sit through the first half of a Munchkin game with people, but I get bored by the second half.

Also, do you really need to define Munchkin to the people reading your journal? :)

I am often surprised by what people don't know. Was erring on the side of caution.

And the second half is the fun part!

I dunno. Illuminati's more to my style.
