Pretty and Witty and Gay!

I haven't done much in this journal for Pride Month, since I've been dead for much of the month, but I wanted to share a few things.

First, 27-8 June is the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, supposedly a major turning point in the gay rights movement. Today/tomorrow is the 37th anniversary of the even. Here are a Wikipedia and an essay from 1987 about the event. Educate yourselves, m'dears.

And also in honor of Pride Month, an article about "deviant" sexuality in the animal kingdom and what it means for Darwin's theory of natural selection. A bit long, but worth the read.

Did an icon revamp today, so that's fun, too.
