Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear
Thursday, 19 October 2006 04:49Had a very productive day: folded laundry, washed a bathroom, answered phones all day (dude, they were ringing off the hook), made it hard for Mum to find something to be mad at me about. If I continue like this, I might actually get her to shut up for five minutes. Sweet!
In other kinds of productivity, there's a new Stargate Time! (three more eps until the end of season 1) and I posted the fanmix I made to
Now, to go to bed, 'cause is late, and I'm not awake enough to write. And by bed, I mean puttering for a while yet. :)

I wish we all shared and drank lemonade together. But I think it is very, very important that bigots are either too ashamed or too afraid to act out on their bigotry. And as long as they don't act on it, then what the hell do I care whether in their heart of hearts they love or hate someone. That's between them and their own conscience. As long as they play nice, it's not my business to try to purify their soul.
I'm sure there's problems created by hidden bigotry. They could all go out and join secret organizations like, I dunno, KKK. And see how much respect and influence that gets them in the real world of political power and cultural influence. Sure, there are places still in the dark ages, but for mainstream America, we are horrified and appalled. That's why they are secret organizations, after all.
It's a powerful thing that as a group, we can make the bigots hide their shameful thoughts. In my opinion, we just get stronger and stronger the more of them that have to hide.
So there!
