in soviet russia, lj boycotts you
Friday, 21 March 2008 11:10Is the boycott today? Yes? No?
Either way, not doing it. Thought about it at work yesterday (yes, we were that slow) and decided that we need to pick our battles with LJ, and this isn't one we should be fighting. I'm still pissed off about content flagging (and I still flag all the news posts and such), but the Russian buy-out is more amusing than actively troubling, and I don't see the point of fighting with TPTB about the interests disappearing, because for all we know that could have been a glitch.
That being said, I'm almost surprised with myself that I'm sort of siding with The Man this time, but what can you do.
And I have to leave for work in 15 minutes, and I'm working the 12-8 death shift (visit me if you're around!), so it's not like I'll be posting much anyway.

21/3/08 19:37 (UTC)*Sidenote* I really don't care about what they did. I've been a member of LJ for so long now I just don't see the point in all of this hoopla.
