First of the Xanga Entries

Getting ready for the fantabulous writing group that I go to. They're so great. A bunch of adults that treat me like a peer and actually enjoy my writing. Makes me so happy!

But yeah. This whole New Year thing is making me look back on the past year. I don't regret any of the stupid stuff or iffy stuff I've done. I mean, standing out in the rain to protest the "conflict" in Iraq was pointless, but it made me feel like I was doing something. And Australia and New Zealand rocked, even if the Americans I was travelling with sucked. And don't even get me started on relationship stuff.

The only things I really regret are losing track of old friends [read: Alyssa] and not writing more. I've been working on Osprey for years now [read: more than 4] and I'm still not done. Procrastinating rocks, but I really want to finish. I do plan to get my pet project published, but I can't until I finish it. -Sigh- I'm so hopeless.

Yeah. Seeing that Livejournal is better than Xanga (and all that jazz), I'm maybe going to use it more often. And, due to the boredom factor, I'm transferring at least some of the old entries over here. [read: all] [read: because I'm procrastinating] [read: because I so love to laugh at myself]
