Impromptu Yiddish Lesson, to describe a member of the lunch group. I bet you all can guess who this is. Willa, m'love, this is for your amusement:
kokhlefel - a busybody; lit. "souphandle", someone who stirs up trouble
yenta - a busybody
farshtinkener - a selfish and insecure person; lit. "a stinker"
makhashaifeh - a witch; a mean woman
nukhshlepper - an unwanted hanger-on; a tag-along
klipeh - a shrew; a she-devil
and, best of all:
yakhneh - a meddling, loudmouthed, uncouth woman
