The Week In Review
Thursday, 19 February 2009 00:49Show's over, and I've finally caught my breath. Oh, live performance, there's no high like it.
Monday predominantly consisted of me staring at things and going "I have to...wait, show's over." Would have been amusing for anyone watching, I'm sure. The one high point was calling my boss and telling her that I was ready to go back to work (a damned lie, but I'm running out of money). I'm going to be able to go back, but only as a barista. That...should be an experience. If I haven't gone stark raving nuts by the end of March (MMRP is the last weekend), I'll probably have to go looking for a second job.
Tuesday I managed to sleep through two of the three things I had to accomplish, but the third guaranteed that we have at least one producer and director to hand the club over to, so that's good. Still felt like an idiot, though.
Today I helped A clean her room (it was a disaster area, but we made a good dent in it), went to the SGA budget meeting (I've got a week to do the budget, so I'm planning on doing it this weekend), and then came home and did some cleaning. Managed to squeeze in a hot shower, too. It seems like I have to shower at either 3a or 9p if I want hot water the whole time. Sheesh.
But, I finally folded the load of laundry I did the end of last week, and I've cleaned up a bit of the post-show clutter, so the room is a little more habitable. The plan is to get it all organized before I go back to work next week.
And! I fried up the last bit of leftover rice in the fridge, and I think I'm getting closer to a shareable recipe. Used the right amount of oil, at least, and the texture was right this time. I think I might be ready to actually put stuff in it next time. :D
