Yesterday was a reasonably good day. Mom and I packed up a bunch of old toys and dropped them off at a local organization that will give them out to local families in need. I'm a little sad I couldn't find the dolls that actually go with the dollhouse, but I certainly spent a goodly amount of time looking for them.

Then I went by the apartment to pack of the last of my dishes and things, and discovered that some $50 of tea and storage items were damaged when the washing machine upstairs flooded. I already sent an e-mail to V (landlady) to pester her about reimbursing me. I suspect that will be a drawn-out process.

Also finally saw Wolverine, which was pretty good. Mom sighed every time they took Hugh Jackman's shirt off, which was almost more entertaining than the film itself.

Today we're heading to Taste of Wheaton, an event where a bunch of local restaurants sent up booths and sell cheap samples of some of their menu items. Our neighborhood is very, very diverse, so there's food from all over the place. There's also various other booths, from the library and local politicians and that kind of thing. It's from 11 to 5, and if you're around and not busy you really should come.

Hopefully I can get some writing done afterward...

It was freezing and small. We only stayed for about an hour.

I'm free all week except for Thursday sometime (I forget when my appointment is). What do you have in mind?

Yeah, I used my Playmobile in the dollhouse instead of the actual dolls. I just really wanted to give them a complete set.
