Alright, today I am undertaking the challenge of attempting to knock out the majority of Act I of the SOS novel. I'm thinking that about 10,000 words will pretty much do it, and I think I'm at the point where I don't have any more research to do until I start Act II. I already know that I can write roughly 1,000 words in an hour, and I don't have anything else to do today, so this should be feasible.

Assuming the goal is 10,000 additional words, I'll start my little word counter looking like this:

I'll be updating this throughout the day. Feel free to stop by and pester me.

Edit: 2:12p

Edit: 3:34p: two new complete scenes

You know, I have a feeling that my notes along the sides of the page (I have annotating turned on) are probably much more entertaining than what I'm actually writing. Actual annotations (mostly used for plotting purposes):

- Sex?
- filler filler blah blah blah
- Jack confronts [redacted] -> all-call (gather the troops) -> sex -> run run run
- And then there was sex.
- filler - wtf am I writing?
- attempted kidnapping of Vala? she'd totally subdue them with the power of her cleavage

I amuse myself way too much.

Edit: 4:19p: one new complete scene. Food time.

Edit: 6:32p: one new complete sex scene

Edit: 7:29p: one new complete scene. Time to go make dinner, because apparently the boys can't feed themselves unless I do it for them.

Edit: 12:36a one new complete scene, one partial scene. Bedtime!

I'm easily distracted, but I'm writing as fast as I can. It doesn't help that my family does not seem to understand the concept of WRITING DO NOT BOTHER. *headdesk*
