Here we go again...

Total for Act II:

I did decide to move that scene after all, and the aforementioned totals reflect that. I have 4-7 scenes left to write in Act I (there are four plotty scenes that must be included, and I'm having structural issues that might either be solved by rewriting certain existing scenes, or adding new ones).
And then we come to my major issues with Act II. It's the SPACE PIRATES* section, but beyond the SPACE PIRATES* gimmick, I have no idea what should be happening. I feel like I did when I first started, and unfortunately I don't remember how I broke my block last time. *whimpers*
*parrots not included

Suppose you outline what Our Heroes are trying to do, and then we'll complicate it enough to make it interesting.

5/6/09 17:08 (UTC)begin setting up off-world base thing
confrontation with Lucian Alliance...and lose?
start the Sam plotline
filler
finish the Sam plotline
big confrontation with Lucian Alliance...and win?
and just as the reader thinks that's it for the section, reveal the Big Bad
And somewhere in there I have to get Cam and Carolyn together, and I have to deliver a baby. Oh dear.
