I will not panic that there are only 10 people signed up for [livejournal.com profile] jd_ficathon. The month is young.

I will not panic that I've spent the last two days in a depressed state. I will call my doctor. Not likely.)

I will not panic that MC hasn't put up book lists yet. There are a large number of bookstores in my area, I will be able to buy what I need.

I will not panic that my brother is completely unprepared for college. It is Not My Problem.

I will not panic that my [livejournal.com profile] stargate_summer is not moving at all.

No, wait, I will panic about that last one.

I am contemplating trying the ficathon--maybe it'd be a gentle way to lose my writing-for-strangers virginity?-- just as long as I am not in the middle of changing jobs during the writing month (should know about that within a week or two).

Let me know how I can help with your SoS.

And remember to sleep--whenever you happen to get a chance!

Well, I'm biased re: ficathon. :D I promise it's chill.

Today is devoted to Monologues stuff, but the plan is to try to get some serious writing done this week (around my work schedule, of course). Expect lots of e-mails.

(I now have both Act I and Act II from the beta, and I'm kind of terrified to read what she's written on them. I'm fine with people editing for me--I don't usually get defensive--but something about the way she's been ripping the guts out of my fic and suggesting a completely different writing style upsets me.)
