Did wind up wearing a corset last night, and it was one of the boned, Renfaire jobbies, since the rest are either not real corsets and still need a bra, or I can't get into them by myself. I was able to find a shirt long enough to cover it, though I'm sure my silhouette looked kind of odd.

I was told "pictures, or else it didn't happen", so here we are. Apologies for the shitty quality; it's hard to take pictures of one's self in the mirror. (I didn't bother to flip them so they're not mirrored, but whatever.)

I didn't take a picture of the actual cleavage because it's kind of scary now.

The shirt, btw, is in the baseball jersey style, with the word "Ancients" on it. (Half a geek point if you get it.) Between the four layers of fabric of the corset, the thick cotton of the t-shirt, and the weather (muggy, 90s, I love DC), I was broiling.

My life is an R-rated sitcom. Or the lead-in on a porno. I don't know which is worse.

Awesome! Corsets are so great. I have this totally badass...thing? It's not a traditional corset, so I don't really know what it is. It's got an awesome silhouette, though, and the fiberglass boning is fantastic. What kind of boning does yours have?

Also, for the record, these pictures are a total cop-out and I am extremely disappointed. You can't declare your cleavage "scary" and not post pictures! Unless your cleavage has in fact grown vampire fangs and tentacles and is trying to eat your face. I don't want to see that.

By the time I got home and took the last photo, I was so hot, sweaty, and tired, I couldn't be bothered. I'm sure I'll wear the full garb at Dragoncon, and I'll get someone to take better pictures of the cleavage.

Let me just say, I can balance my drink on the girls now. ;)
