melayneseahawkAs you should be aware if you've been following the news, there was a massive earthquake in Haiti yesterday. All the news coming out of Haiti is pretty awful.

help_haiti, a charity auction to raise money for various groups that are providing aid in Haiti. At the time of this posting, the fanfiction/original fiction/writing offerings post is up to 11 pages, and there are also other lists of offerings of art, audio, food, and lots of other wonderful things.
I've listed myself twice, once for a piece of fanfiction and once for beta services. I know I can't contribute money, but this way I can still help out.
If you're financially able (and I know first-hand that that's not always possible), take a wander over there and take a look at the offerings, or put yourself up for auction.
Isn't it amazing how a group of people who can basically sit on the internet and write porn (:P) can get together and raise what will likely be hundreds of dollars (or more) to help people they've never even met?
