a question for the Buffy fans on my flist

So, I've been devouring watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and I've gotten to the point where Angel spins off. How should I watching the show from here on? Should I alternate episodes? Watch a season of one, and then a season of the other?

Also, is it work trying to get my hands on any of the comic books once I finish the shows?

Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

I watched all of Buffy, then started Angel afterward. I really liked it better that way, but I know some people who think you should do one episode from one, then the corresponding episode of the other.

IMO you're not missing anything major if you just keep watching Buffy, and watch Angel as it's convenient. BTW, Buffy very rarely spoils for Angel, but Angel majorly spoils Buffy several times, for what that's worth.

I agree with the 'watch all of Buffy first' idea. I always thought that Buffy was brilliant - and Angel wasn't nearly as good.

I finally watched Angel this past March. It was fun - but not nearly as much fun as Buffy.
