I will post the names of all the files in my WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. Choose one (1), and I will post a random line or two.

This is a random combination of original and fannish work, mostly Stargate and Star Trek XI, with a little Harry Potter, and maybe other stuff. The first four are the ones I'm actively working on, the rest I pick at when I'm inspired. There's also a few projects on my to-write list I haven't started yet, so that's a whole 'nother mess.

Misleading title is misleading. :D

When Spock is five, he has an imagined playmate.

True, Spock thinks this is illogical, because T’Pala is as real to him as Mother or I-Chaya, but as no one has ever
seen T’Pala, Mother tells him he must be imagining her.

T’Pala is an adult Vulcan, with coloring like those from the northern polar regions: fair of hair and light of eye. She tells Spock of the worlds she has visited, of distant stars and strange, illogical peoples. She tells him of Earth--Mother’s cool, blue planet--and the merits of emotion when it is harnessed, controlled but not ignored. She tells him to ignore the taunts of the children at school.

And sometimes, she kisses him on the forehead the human way, like Mother does, and Spock feels a hum of
loveyouverymuch in his veins.
