So, studying for astronomy final (at noon, kill me now), and I had a thought:

All semester, I've been amusing myself by picking apart episodes of my various sci-fi shows with my new knowledge of astronomy (yes, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing), and I'm debating writing up a post (or series of posts) about what they did wrong. I'd start, with black holes, and then maybe go on from there, but the issue is this: would anyone actually be interested?

I'd mostly be bashing Stargate and Atlantis, but there's definitely an episode of (new) Doctor Who that I'd take a crack at.

So, 'gaters, interested?

Right, I meant off-journal, since you didn't seem to be interested in continuing here.

And yeah, I figured we were both talking about new BSG, not the old one - which was preeeety awful. :)
