Flist, help!

I need someone to help me create a banner for the J/D Ficathon. I've already got something in mind, and it's a simple manip (taking the background out of an existing pic, maybe blurring the figures a bit), but Photoshop and I are only barely acquainted. Let me know in comments if you're interested in helping, or you know someone who might be willing and able to do the same.

So, I want to take this pic (http://www.stargatecaps.com/sg1/s3/316/html/3X16%5F423.html) and take out the background, maybe, and add the text "Jack/Daniel Ficathon V 2008" and maybe a cute subtitle. It needs to be banner-sized, but small enough that I can use it in posts (though I might be creating a comm to do this in, rather than doing it in my journal, so I'd need a top-of-page-size version, too). Other than that, go wild. :D

So, like one that's maybe 500 pixels wide, and another that's maybe 700 pixels wide?

Any ideas on the subtitle?
